Visit the gardensA selection of exclusive show gardens will be on display at the show, exhibiting the latest trends in planting and horticulture. Show gardens, conceptual gardens, water gardens and small gardens will be on show, presenting a diverse range of exhibits in London. The conceptual gardens will return again for 2008, featuring innovative, modern spaces at the cutting edge of contemporary design.
Garden highlightsHighlights in previous years have included a windowbox and hanging basket competition, floral art displays and classes, an edible plant exhibition and a selection of gardens from established designers. This year looks to be just as exciting so make sure you don't miss out on every gardener's dream - enthusiasts can dive into a world of exclusive garden design from some of the world’s leading horticultural designers. Browse the stands at the Hampton Court Palace Flower ShowA number of events and special exhibitions are taking place in the show, including the Plant Heritage Marquee, Growing and Showing Marquee and Festival of Roses, where all breeds of roses will be on display. Visitors can expect a complete learning experience at Hampton Court.
Grow your ownNew for 2008 the Growing Tastes marquee will be home to three fruit and vegatble gardens inspired by British, Mediteranean an Asian foods. In the Growing Tastes theatre, you can see head chef Chris Warwick demonstrating exactly what you can do with this delicious produce every day from 11.30am onwards. All the recipes used in the demonstrations will use ingredients from The Grove restaurant in Hertfordshire where Chris works.
World class exhibitorsShow exhibitors for 2008 include a comprehensive line up of florists, designers and nurseries from across the UK, converging in London for one of the biggest events on the horticultural calendar. A number of new plant launches will also be taking place at the show, providing an insight into the next generation of garden design.
Something to take homeA range of plants and flowers will be available for purchase at the sell off, taking place on the final day of the show. Visitors can find something to brighten up the home and browse from huge selection of products. The sell off begins on the afternoon of Sunday 13th July.
The Hampton Court Palace Flower Show takes place from Tuesday 8th July – Sunday 13th July 2008. RHS members can attend throughout the wek but members of the public can only visit from Thursday 10th - Sunday 13th July.Hampton Court Palace Flower Show tickets range from £13.50 - £31.00.
