Lucky Londoners look set to have another top NFL game between two great American Football teams, as the NFL confirm there will be another match up in London in 2009. After the huge success of the games between the Miami Dolphins and the New York Giants, and the San Diego Chargers and the New Orleans Saints in 2007 and 2008, the demand for another game couldn't be higher and the NFL are excited by the prospect of bringing another competitive game to our shores. The match will be between the New England Patriots and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, taking place at Wembley Stadium on Sunday October 25th 2009.
NFL LondonIn 2007 London beat competition from Germany, Canada and Mexico to be the location for the first ever National Football League game to be held outside the Americas. American football might have fewer London fans than other sports, but it definitely has a dedicated fan base.
