One of the nation’s favourite groups is back with a bang! Wet Wet Wet have announced they will be embarking on an impressive tour of the country, dropping by the O2 Arena on the way. So, make sure you don’t miss out, and buy your Wet Wet Wet London Tickets now.

Iconic British band Wet Wet Wet have confirmed the ‘Big Picture Tour’ for 2016, coinciding with the 20th anniversary of their huge No.1 album Picture This, which included the hits Julia Says, Don’t Want to Forgive Me Now, Somewhere Somehow, She’s All On My Mind, Morning and of course Love is all Around. Wet Wet Wet broke up in the late 90’s, and individual members enjoyed solo careers and other projects. The band reformed in 2004 and played various UK festivals. Sporadic concerts followed but the band haven’t played a full blown concert since 2011, so be sure to grab your Wet Wet Wet London tickets and don’t miss out on this rare chance to see this incredible group.

Break up
Wet Wet Wet broke up in 1997 after a dispute over money received through royalties, and how it was distributed throughout the band. Drummer Tommy Cunningham was the first to leave, and formed his own band ‘The Sleeping Giants’, while lead singer Marti Pello followed the drummer out of the band, to deal with his addiction to drugs and alcohol. The Scottish singer returned clean and abstinent, and released his debut solo album ‘Smile’ in 2001, and has since then released a further seven impressive solo albums.

Love is all around
Wet Wet Wet may owe a lot to their smash hit single ‘Love is all Around’, which stayed at the top of the UK music charts for 15 weeks and knocked Bryan Adam’s Wedding favourite ‘Everything I do’ off the top spot. However, the power ballad may have overshadowed the Scottish group’s incredible career, who have had a sensational impact on the music industry in the past 20 years. The band has released an impressive ten studio albums, receiving accolades and awards in abundance on their journey, and have also been keen philanthropists throughout their wonder years, contributing to the 1989 Band Aid II charity single.

So, instead of sitting at home listening to Wet Wet Wet’s greatest hits, why not visit them at the O2 Arena and absorb all their epic love ballads, live on stage. Buy your Wet Wet Wet London tickets here now!
