This was my local for a couple of nights in 2003 when I stayed at a hotel up the road. I didnt sample the food but the beer was okay,(could've been colder! It's a northern thing!!) the atmosphere wasnt too bad and the staff were pretty friendly. well apart from one but never mind, You get that everywhere.
