I was at Adventure a few weeks ago celebrating a friend's 30th birthday. First of all: The music was great! Staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was... let's say crazy! :) My friend had booked a table so we received a free bottle of Champagne, coming out to our table with sparkler and everything! Everyone had such a good time! Since I've worked in cocktail bars myself, I am usually a bit fussy with cocktails and other bartenders, but I really liked everything about Adventure! We'll be back soon again!

I am a regular customer of adventure in east dulwich, I am always greeted with a friendly smile and am looked after pretty well. Love the music, and the staff always cater for customers requests for music, happy hour is amazing, having great deals on cocktails etc, you are served promptly. The aim of the staff is to ensure you have a great time and they all succeed in this, if other Adventure Bars are like this, they all must be amazing! Amd fair play to the management and the team on doing such an amazing job, I would definitely recommend anyone to come visit this amazing, friendly and vibrant bar.

As a Londoner and professional researcher, I have observed the best and the worst of what this great metropolitan city can offer. My two all time favourite spiritual centres are Adventure Bar in East Duwlich and The Distillers Smithfield. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with a warm welcome and genuine smile. I have been going to both places for over two years and they have never let me down on a single day, nor have I seen, as an anonymous participant observer, being disapproved by other customers. Even though Adventure Bar sometimes dispatches staff and managers from different locations, where they also have similar Bars, their superb customer service remains consistent. Honestly, you will find a few places like Adventure Bar and Distillers where friendly staff are good at creating a relaxing environment that is crucial for mental well-being. Both places can be can sometimes get a bit quiet during the week (specially Monday-Wednesday), though the Happy Hour treat seems to pull in customers who are on budget. No offence to the other Adventure Bars, I am a big fan of the East Dulwich branch.

I was visiting a friend in London a while back and we decided to stop by Adventure for "a drink". I had just arrived from the US and was pretty tired so the "a" as in "one" was an important detail....which quickly turned very UNimportant! We had such a great time; one drink turned into many (the Porn Stars are AMAZING!!) and we found ourselves still there when they were getting ready to close. Definitely a night to remember!SUPER fun and friendly staff, great drinks, wonderful people - what more could you ask for? We ended up coming back for drinks a couple more times before I went back home a week later! Any negatives? Yes, the bar is very, very far from the United States! ;-)

I had my birthday party at Adventure last week and it was great! I have actually only been to the Adventure in Covent Garden earlier, but the East Dulwich bar is closer to where I live. We had our table booked pretty early, still in time for Happy Hour, and worked our way though probably half of the menu!!!! Porn Star and Black Pearl (that we were recommended) were my favourites! :) After Happy Hour the guys brought out a bottle of Champagne for us, since we had booked a table. We all loved the drinks, but even better is the party in there! Great music, really friendly staff and at the end of the night we were all up dancing on our table! :) I could highly recommend anyone to book a party there, and we will definitely be back frequently from now on!

Fantastic bar with a great atmosphere. Wide selection of awesome cocktails (especially on happy hour with 2 cocktails for £9!). I booked a a table for 8 of us and got a free bottle of champagne too! The staff were super friendly and helpful, and the music was great, will definitely be going again!

Awesome bar. Friendly atmosphere and excellent bar staff. Can't fault the place.
Even on the quiet nights you get a good cross section of people which makes a friendly and welcoming environment from the offset.

The cocktail menu is diverse and intriguing. I'd recommend Adventure Bar to anyone.

Sure you're all welcome too.

Last seen dancing on the bar......

Great place, staff are so much fun and drinks always great! I started coming here after going to the Adventure Bar in Covent Garden, and it more than lives up to the expectations that I had. Massive thanks to the bar staff for being so welcoming, and actually seeming like they were genuinely happy to have a chat when time allowed, really refreshing to have that level of service! Thanks!!

Went here for the first time on Saturday, had an absolutely brilliant time. Recommended by a few friends.
Only down side is that shots are £4 each, which is a bit on the high side, even for Balham. And they don’t seem to do any deals on shots, like they do on the cocktails :(
Our first round of 3 vodka diet cokes and 3 black sambucas came to £24 something.
Atmosphere is brilliant and the bartenders are friendly and welcoming. Our first night in we felt like regulars, the bartender gave us all double high fives as we arrived.

Music was good, although down the far end it’s a bit quieter and when we asked if we could have it turned up the guy told us that the people upstairs complained about the noise so he couldn’t and was currently involved in court proceedings to get a later licence.
Hopefully they’ll get it, as although we had to leave to go to a mates birthday, I could quite happily stay there all night.
Will definitely be going back.

A relatively new addition to Lordship Lane, Adventure Bar is finally somewhere that breaks the mould of the 'gastropub' that litter the area.

The welcoming atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax for a post-work drink, to catch up with friends or even to party and let your hair down at the weekend.

The service provided is excellent, and the staff's extensive knowledge of their trade and their friendliness, make Adventure stand out from all your other average cocktail bars around London.

If you haven't visited already, you really must. After just one cocktail from their huge selection, I'm sure you'll be hooked!
