After reading good reviews about The Globe decided it would be the perfect place for a special romantic dinner. I was sadly mistaken. The restaurant was fairly empty on a Saturday and brightly lit so def not romantic! The views were nice but not breath-taking but since both of us work in London maybe we are just difficult to please. The service was efficient although our waiter did manage to break the cork while opening our bottle of red but immediately got us a replacement bottle. The wine and food were really not very good- my mushroom tart was edible unlike my butternut squash ravioli while my boyfriends duck terrine and slow roast pork were really not very good.
Def a restaurant to be avoided. Luckily my boyfriend forgave me for my bad choice in restaurant although I have now been banned from choosing our restaurant venues!!

My husband and I visited this restaurant for my birthday. The service was impeccable and they even noted it was my birthday and took the time to wish me many happy returns.

The food was excellent - i had the seabass and my husband had the steak and they were both cooked to perfection, with good sized portions.

To top it all off, the views were spectacular - as the sun set there was a romantic atmosphere and i thoroughly enjoyed this experience, well recommended.
