We were a bit sceptical when we went in as it was not very busy for a Sat. evening.

The food however was exceptional good. I had a sashimi platter and my wife had the teriyaki beef.

Both dishes were fantastic with the beef very tender and the sashimi almost melting in my mouth.

The service was also above any expectation with very friendly staff. We will definitely visit again!!

The food was very good and the service excellent.
But it seems like none of the staff are actually japanese,
so at least for a japanese restaurant of that style, it could have been more authentic.

Went here for the first time last night (30th September 08) and I will be going back again. Food was beautifully presented and the service was excellent. I have a wheat intolerance and the waiter could not have been more helpful in recommending dishes that were best for me - he actually offered to find out more, rather than being asked. Absolutely fantastic service and quality of food.

Took my family to this restaurant December 2010 and the food was very disappointing. We had too wait a really long time for the starter and the main meal took even longer. The food was not brought all at the same time. We had almost finished our meal and my teenage daughter still had not got hers. My daughter didn't want to make a fuss as she thought they might do something to her food (as review on tv show want nasties happen to meal behind the scene). When her food did arrive it was cold.

They do not give you your full order either, we had to ask for a dish
of vegetable that should have come with main meal and also fish clearly said 'seated on a bed on white noodles', came seated on mixed salad.
This is the first restaurant I have been to and had not left a tip.

Never again.
