I wanted to send a massive thank you to all the team at Jewel Piccadilly. Thank you for all your help with the arrangements, we all had a fantastic night at our first Christmas Party with you (we will certainly book again next year). The food was great, the atmosphere was brilliant and we all partied long into the night. I would also like you to pass our thanks on to our server, she was very helpful and did everything she could to make sure we had everything weneeded. (sorry I cant remember her name, I think we sat a table 12. She had blond hair.
Well on tuesday night i tried Jewel bar piccadilly for the first time, as i was given an offer from someone i know in their sales team. But other view london people take advantage of this, its called the BTT.
Bar Tab Tuesday or Thursday, its gives you and 5 guests a free bar tab of £25 to start off your night, we didnt have to pay for a table, or put down card details, we just messaged there sales team's email and booked it all through them.
The cocktails were sublime, the staff friendly and music was so chilled out. Great for an mellow evening or to get more energetic into the night.
Make sure you call there sales team for this. i love getting freebies lol
and its an awesome venue too.
Not to be missed.
I really want to like Jewel as it's in a perfect location, not too touristy and a gorgeous venue. I've been a few times but it seems to take a while for the night to get going, as most people will try and sit - which is a little dull when you realise that it closes at 1am on a Saturday night! The first time I went was for a networking event, which it was perfect for; the other times were for nights out which I personally think should go on until about 3am.
That said, the drinks are good, if a little expensive; it took ages to get served at the bar too but staff are friendly enough. The DJs are good, but I'd say it's more of a chat-and-drink venue than a dance-and-drink place.
I have been to this bar twice. I actually didnt realise there were all these different rooms, I really must explore them!
The first time I went was for the Sex and the City night with my course mates, one of them knew the place and recommended it. You must try the cocktail 'Blue Moonlight' i'd never tried it before, and I was on them all night, absolutely lush! And of course we had some typical Cosmopolitans Carrie style lol. Yeh there were a lot of attractive men there, and one of the bar tenders was definitely eyeing me up. The only thing I would have liked was a dance floor, but maybe its in another room, i just havent found it yet?
Anyway definitely recommended.
My friend and I decided to book a table at the Jewel Bar in Picadilly for a catch up and we was delighted with the friendly fast table service and choice of snacks on the menu.
The food was lovely so having made the most of it we drank on untill the end and had a little boogie on their cute dancefloor.
We was suprised with the amount of good looking guys that were drinking near to us as well which made for brilliant eye candy.
I booked a table in Jewel last weekend because I had been invited by some friends to go there before and after the cinema for their Sex and the City weekend a few weeks ago.
We had a fantastic time mainly because it has a bit more of an older crowd and the music is different from the mainstream. The cocktails were great and the waitress was really friendly too.
We are going back there in a couple of weeks because Joey Negro is playing and we love a good dance and have been to a couple of his nights before. Can't wait

Me and some of my old uni friends booked a table in Jewel bar this weekend as hadn't seen each other for a while, and wanted to go somewhere we could have a good chat and a dance. One of the girls had been before, but it was my first time. I found it to be different to other west end bars in that it’s really lovely inside, got a good crowd, and the drinks aren’t too expensive. (Some west end places charge soo much.) We were chatted and attended to by the manager (I think he was anyway...) for a while, which I thought was nice as he was probably very busy. All of the girls thought that the bar was lovely, and the cocktails are really nice. I had 3 vanilla kisses which are sooo good. I 100% recommend them, mmm... I will definitely go back to Jewel, and will probably take my close friends in a few weeks. Overall, a really enjoyable reunion night for us!
I actually didn’t want to put any star but I don’t have a choice, its the worse place in the west end, please avoid it, the waitresses don’t understand English, the food is really bad, I was sick all night from eating their food, we were ignored all the times, never go to that place again, there is far better places. Don’t waist your money there.
Jewel is awful! The service is terrible and the atmosphere is non existant. I booked a table through late night london. I was told the venue and the staff were great, and on the night I found them to be anything but. Even when the bill came the waitress had the cheek to ask us for a Tip! I will never return again.
A few single friends asked me to organise a Girls Night Out so I decided to kickstart the fun at London's most impressive bar and booked a table in the Blanca Bar at Jewel.
The girls oohed and aahed about the glamour of the Blanca Bar and the razzle dazzle vibe in the main bar - in fact, we had quite a few fun flirtations throughout the night!
We also enjoyed efficient table service plus happy-hour prices and sumptuous cocktails. All in all, we couldn't have picked a better spot for Friday night fun.
Thanks Jewel! We'll be back again and again.

I reserved an area in Jewel for a friends hen party last week. We all had a fantastic time, the atmosphere was great, the staff were lovely and very helpful and the music was awesome. The whole night was amazing! The place wasn't too crowded so we were able to dance we out hitting other people. In the word's of the hen "this is my favourite bar in London" and that was before the shots!
I hired out the Velvet Room 2 at Jewel on Friday night for my flirting work-shop, and all the girl's all went ga-ga! The candelabra flickered as we perched atop the long sumptous red banquettes overlooking Piccadilly Circus and one of this city's best views! This truly is one of the most stunning venues and the service is world class - on top of that, some of the drink waiters are totally hot - a fact which all the single girls in my class loved! Plus the fantastic Happy-hour deals means that a bottle of the finest champagnes and cocktails are actually affordable! Thank you Jewel, we'll be back! Sue Ostler x
I went to Jewel this weekend for my friend’s birthday party. We had such good fun, and I am trying to think of a good reason to hold a party there myself. I haven’t been to a bar like Jewel before, and I was expecting it to be more expensive. It turned out to be a very reasonable price to pay for a very plush night out.
The decor is lovely, and the cocktails are really really nice. I recommend trying this place if you are looking to go somewhere that bit different and special.
Jewel is beautiful. Great drinks, and a fun atmosphere. We booked a table in the White Bar, and the girl serving our table was lovely. Would definitely book there again.
We had a great night out here last Friday. This place is absolutely gorgeous inside. They have huge chandeliers hanging in the main bar, and the whole place feels special.
The best thing is that the drinks are reasonably priced compared to similar high end clubs, and me and my friends didn’t want to leave at closing time. There’s a great atmosphere to be found here.
Not sure what you lot are all on about! Me and my girlfriends booked a booth @ Jewel Bar Piccadilly on Saturday 30th January and loved it loved it! :-)
The venue is so gorgeous and the crowd is trendy but not too pretentious so I could have a good few drinks without feeling stupid!
Yes the bar was extremely busy and the waitresses were a bit manic but isn't that a good sign? Just hire an extra couple of staff and they're good to go! The staff were also really happy to help out if we needed anything.
Anyway I would totally book again x
Went to Jewel on a Saturday night and the bar was packed. Got to say that it is very nicely decorated and played a good mix of progressive house and trance. The crowd was fake tanned, arrogant and trendy; nice staff, bad customers. It took a long time for anyone to get served. People who were just standing at the front of the bar weren't getting served for about 30 mins - the girls behind the bar, although very nice, seemed to take forever on one order and always appeared to be doing something else other than making drinks. Once drinks were bought, the cocktails ordered (a mojito and a long island ice tea) tasted terrible. I have drunk both of these cocktails thousands of times in bars in London and never have I tasted ones like these. Basically, they just tasted of lemon juice, extremely sour to the point were it couldn't be drunk. Instead I settled for bottled beer. You would think these girls would be able to make a decent cocktail, considering that's basically all they sold, and the amount of time it took them to knock one together!
In conclusion, if you have a gun pointed at your head then maybe, just maybe, you should enter Jewel. Otherwise, avoid at all costs unless you like drinking lemon juice whilst surrounded by a bunch of celebrity wannabe, pretentious nob jockeys. Oh yes, one more thing. Much respect to the 80 year old guy named John standing at the bar who kept us all company, an absolute legend and a gentleman.
I've been here before and enjoyed it, but my latest visit left a lot to be desired.
The service 'system' seems confused and pointless - as we happened to be sitting at a 'table service only' table, we were turned away when we tried to buy drinks at the bar and had to wait... and wait... and wait to get the attention of a waitress. It was a pretty quiet evening, but the one poor waitress seemed hopelessly overstretched on her own, while the four bar-staff stood around refusing to help because they're not supposed to serve anyone seated in that section!
It took slightly over half an hour (and several requests) to finally get an order taken. They insist on keeping a credit card to ensure your tab and, as I'm not keen on doing that, I asked to pay in cash. This seemed a problem for some reason and, 45 minutes after arriving, I was sent back to... the bar to order!
Got served after about an hour. Adding insult to injury, £5 was automatically added to the bill for the 'service'....
Um, what can I say? Décor ok? Staff idiots, standard. Drinks good.
Pretty awful, had same experience of complicated tab/minimum spend. Don't go!
I reserved a table for a party and had a similar experience to the previous review by MiMiMi. On arrival I was told that pre-booked tables had a minimum spend which was fine.... but they then informed me that to keep track of the minimum spend all drinks were to be placed on a tab that was to be paid at the very end of the night. When our party consisted of 20 people drinking into the early hours it was ridiculous to expect one person to organise and cover the drinks tab!
We were also told that only our table waitress could serve us drinks. You were lucky if you caught her, she was rarely around and when we did place an order we were kept waiting a very long time. She also brought back the incorrect cocktails which had cost nearly £40 but when we questioned this we were treated rudely and she did not offer to bring the correct drinks.
The seating was very cramped, definitely not enough space for our group of 20 even though the organiser at the bar had said there would be. We had pre-ordered a buffet which arrived in scattered parts throughout the evening and the food was always cold by the time it got to our table. The desserts never did arrive even though they had been prepaid.
Got fed up in the end and decided we were going to start ordering drinks at the main bar. There was a queue but the service was much, much better! The atmosphere was lively and the music upbeat. If you're just coming for drinks in the main bar then this place gets the thumbs up but if you're reserving an area then I really would look elsewhere.
I booked Jewel bar for my birthday at the end of November and whilst we had a great night, I did find the overall bar experience quite disappointing.
We had to have a minimum spend because it's Christmas party season (in November!!). I explained that it was my birthday and not a Christmas do but still had to. It's only £250 but you're forced to have table service because of this and put everything on a tab - which meant I ended up paying for most of it, as people couldn't pay for their drinks at the time. Not really ideal on your birthday.
I had booked months in advance and still seemed to have one of the worst tables, with hardly any lighting (we had to borrow a candle from another table so we could see!) but right by the doors for upstairs, which meant we had a choice of blinding fluorescent light from the stairwell, or darkness.
The service leaves a lot to be desired. They're fine but it lacks finesse. We arrived and people were sitting at our table so the staff kicked them off (without much decorum, considering they were paying customers).
Then the waitress insisted we weren't allowed to go to the bar so we had to wait 15 minutes for her to take our order. We ordered some bottles of prosecco only for her to come back after another 15 minutes to tell us they'd run out - so we'd have to buy the much more expensive champagne.
When the champagne finally arrived (after about 40 minutes wait, during which time my party had tripled in size) the waitress insisted on pouring every glass, taking ages. It then took her a further 10 minutes to bring the wine we'd ordered at the same time.
The food is good (if slow). The decor is good (if dark). The atmosphere is fun but that's probably more down to the clientele than the bar.
To add insult to injury, I lost a present there (fully giftwrapped). I had to call the bar 5 times and leave various voicemails only to find out someone had nicked it.
I might go back but not for anything special.
I went there last night, to a friend's 40th birthday party. Great venue - very spacious and comfortable, extravagant decor, nice lighting. Good selection of drinks, nice food and the service was prompt. Music was great and there were a couple of live singers who had incredible voices. Overall, a very nice place - I would definitely visit again.
I had my brotheers 25th birthday last week and wanted to make it as special and extravagant as possible.
I was told by one of my friends that we have to go to Jewel Bar in Piccadilly Circus. I called to book a table, as I had very specific requests that needed to be pre arranged.
The dude who booked us in was really soooo helpful and accommodating. The 12 of us arrived at the venue welcomed by really friendly door staff.
While being escorted to our booth by a very pretty lady, our eyes nearly fell out of our heads as this place was like being in a movie. There are massive Chrystal chandeliers all lit by candle light.
We then sat in our private booth, which is apparently called the J-Lo booth. By this time we're all treated like royalty by the very personal touch of all the amazing staff I thought there had to be some sort of catch.
While sipping on our Champagne cocktails, a DJ came on playing the latest funky house beats. I had to find out who the DJ was and where I could catch him next.
MC DJ Gonzo you legend!! Followed by the sickest house tunes by DJ Barry Obzee. Later that night, we met a group of girls who we invited to our table.
All in all we had the greatest time of our lives, I have never seen my brother smile that much in his life, and it was not just from the alcohol :) I have just gotten off the phone with that same guy from Jewel, as we will be returning this Saturday!! I cant wait!!!!!
Absolutely beautiful venue!- the perfect for my sister's hen do which we arranged for last weekend.
We arranged a wicked booth in the Blanca Bar area of Jewel.
The young man looking after our table was impeccable- really lovely and fantastic service.
Good- classy yet friendly -crowd! Love it! Delicious cocktails also. Will definitely be returning in the near future.
We had a great 40th Birthday in the Ruby room and the Food was great and the bar staff made the best cocktails
we used our 1/3 off voucher ans saved heapsWe will be coming back soon !
ThanksSammy and Tina
Bar is actually quite nice, we reserved a room for a hen night last weekend
Unfortunately, the experience was tarnished by the events guy we met, Michael Hyde who was appalling and didn't arrange anything we had pre-arranged (despite numerous emails and conversations)
From us waiting for 2 hours before the venue opened (although we had been told someone would be there earlier so we could decorate) - to not arranging a screen with the projector we had organised (where did they expect us to project too!), to the sound cable not working,to offering me 1/3 off (which is actually their current offer so not special), to charging service on full amount!
Also the General Manager, Ian, was supposed to apologise personally and give us a bottle of champagne - am still waiting!
Not really a great reputation for Late Night London to have this as a venue - certainly won't be using either Late Night London or Jewel again - I may have considered it but they have not been courteous enough to reply to my feedback - so I just wanted people to know that customer service from management does not exist.
Luckily on the night, the staff did their best to rescue a potentially disastrous occasion and bent over backwards to get the things right the management had managed to stuff up, such as sorting drinks, and getting tables for food - so we thank them for that
I have been to Jewel last saturday night, as I haven't been there in a while and was pleased to see that it's still great.
The music was good and as usual service was great.
Jewel is for sure on my top 5 favourite bars in London and I recommend. 5 stars!
I had my birthday drinks at Jewel last Saturday and it was brilliant! The DJ was really good and pumping top class tunes.
What was great about Jewel is that the staff were really accomodating, friendly and helpful in every way.
The price of the drinks & food were not that cheap but definitely top top quality. Still far cheaper than clubs around.
The people that Jewel attracted were very good looking and classy and up for a good laughl!
The only downside of it is the closing time, 1am. I have enjoyed my birthday and think it was a very good choice of place to celebrate.
Service is atrocious! The bar has lovely decor and it is a nice place to sit and have a drink, however we did not enjoy our night here.
The waitresses were rude. One waitress ignored my (4) polite requests for a glass of water during a coughing fit.
Our drink orders took ages (20-30 minutes at a time) and the bar was not even half full. I complained at the bar after waiting 20 minutes for our drinks to be delivered (its table service in some areas) and all of a sudden another waitress came over and said that the table we were sitting on was booked and we would have to go.
The bar was only half full so this seemed quite odd and I believe it was due to my complaint about waiting for drinks at the bar. There are other nice bars in London with staff that are much nicer.
Try the Living Room off Regent street if you would like an alternative in the area.
A GREAT venue! I held my Birthday party here last week.
A wonderfully stylish and more importantly friendly place - a welcome change compared to some of the establishments nearby!
We were at Jewel for the full night having reserved an area for 20 people from 7.30pm.
Initially the bar is more of a 'relaxed and civilised' bar early on however still busy with people enjoying a chat and many a tasty drink.
The drinks list is extensive, with a great choice of cocktails which are reasonably priced considering the location. Our waitress was fabulous!
As the hours ticked by and the lights slowly dimmed (as the DJ turned the volume up) the place really turned into a brilliant place to spend a birthday night or any night for that matter!
We danced into the small hours! Despite being busy towards the end it really didn't feel 'too busy' as some places can.The staff and management had been great and were on hand all evening to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, I even received a friendly 'Good-bye I hope you enjoyed yourself' from the lady manager when I finally tottered out.
The whole party commented on the venue and the welcoming atmosphere. All in all an evening well spent! Highly recommended.
Ayesha.
Had a great night out with my friends, we had the J-LO booth
Food was nice , some drinks are very quick to come come slow but it was a very busy night.
The staff were great and the booking staff are very helpful
Lucy
I meant to put 5 starts in my previous review!!
By the way... many many thanks to all staff that made our night so perfect! You guys rock!
Brilliant!I hired a booth in the Blanca Bar and me & friends had a great night.
When we arrived the door staff was super friendly and the hostess walked us to our area.
Yes, there were people sitting on our booth but it's understandable as our booking was around 9ish.
They quickly clean up for us and during the whole night our service was great. The waitress was so so nice to us, the drinks were superb and the food equally impressive.
We all enjoyed the music and by the end of the night I was actually quite tired of all dancing... people were good looking and having a good time.
In the end of the night the door staff and two managers thanked us for the visit... rare thing to see in a bar!I 100% recommend this venue and will be there more often!
We hired half of the private area for my partner & my leaving earlier in March and we felt very dissappointed by many things.
Firstly the bar manager doubled booked our area and 1/3 of the area had to be given to another group... there response was to give us a free bottle of Cava, not champagne... Nice touch!
They allow people to use your private area up to the time you arrive, even if you book the area from a certain time.. imagine the feeling when you have random undesirables scattered over an area you reserved and paid for when you arrive!
Our minimum spend was quite low... but they would only count money collected on tabs by the waitresses, with 80 people in attendance, 2 waitresses were totally inadequate and in the end people just used the private bar.
Fortunately we made our minimum spend anyhow due to heavy expenditure made by certain individuals.
We had a bouncer designated to our area but when randoms jumped over the rope he found it difficult to move them, he wasn't prepared to move people who put up a fight as they said..
..they only want to buy 1 drink and then they're off.
In the end we spent half our time asking randoms not to enter our area. Also, when talking to the waitress at the end of the night she sympathised with us saying 'The management double book areas all the time'.
Music.... Funky House. Bad, no but to be honest it sounded like a fashion catwalk... nameless dance tracks merged into one.
Nothing people could really dance to, or recognise for that matter. We didn't have a nightmare... only because our mates kept our spirits up and had fun but in all honesty we expected a lot more from what is meant to be one London's better bars.
If I hadn't hired the area (and I hope you don't after reading this review) I wouldn't recommend going there.
We went on a Saturday and the plae was totally rammed in the standard area. There was
I went to jewel bar on a Friday 06/03, I got served by a waitress called Antonia who got everything wrong because she couldn’t understand a word we were saying.
The service was awful, the waitress was useless, but the place is lovely.
I went to Jewel on a very quiet Thursday night.
There was one other person waiting at the bar before me, yet the bar man took 25 minutes to serve me, serving other people that walked up to the bar after me - and believe me it was sooo quiet there was no way that was a mistake!
When I did eventually get served, they didn't have the ingredients for the cocktails I wanted so as I picked up the menu to order something different the bar man walked away leaving me to wait another 5 minutes.
I asked to see the manager and when I tried to bring the problem to his attention he was very rude.
I said 'I go to a lot of bars and had never had such bad service' he replied 'good for you' before walking away and pushing past me!
I ended up leaving 30 minutes after I entered without having a drink and being treated absolutley disgustingly by the manager.
A beautifully decorated bar but if you want to go somewhere for 1. a drink and 2. an enjoyable evening AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Jewel is an absolute classic!
I have never had bad night there, the music is great, the food / drinks well priced, and the bar staff very efficient and doorman even cracked a joke, how rare it's that?
I have been there on a Thursday, Friday and Saturday night and all have been equally impressive. The clientele are great. Get there early though, it gets pretty full on the weekend.
Stunning Venue, Good Atmosphere, Nice Crowd, Average Service, Poor Food.
Be Warwned even if you order at The Bar and carry all your own drinks etc they service charge any orders over £50, used the recent 50% off voucher and bought 6 bottles of champagne which they service charged before discounting and then didnt even offer to carry the buckets of ice, glasses etc over to the table despite the abundance of staff standing around.
Also wish thsy would stop the whole "Reserved for Table service" signs on EVERY bloody table1
However the decor, music and customers is this venue's saving grace
Love this place! Great service, been a couple of times and every time I have been greeted by someone who finds me and my friends a table and also takes the drink orders which saves us queuing at the bar! The drink prices are reasonable for London so no shockers there. The decor is lovely, the crowd is nice and chilled out. The music is commercial dance which is ok but would be nice to hear a bit more of a variety. Overall a great place to go for drinks after work or to get a night started.
