Wanstead Fireworks Display

Head to the Wanstead fireworks display for a night of fizzes, pops and bangs as a traditional pyrotechnics show lights up the skies of north east London.

Bonfire Night is one of the most popular events in the autumnal calendar, and at the Wanstead fireworks display the whole family can enjoy a night of colourful lights in the night sky above Woodford Green. The annual event is hosted by the Wanstead Rugby Club and has been going since 1963, making it one of north east London's longest running displays.

Mulled wine
As well as all the mines, rockets and Roman candles, the Wanstead fireworks display also features food and drink stalls where you can keep warm and refreshed throughout the night. Tuck into a hot dog and sip some mulled wine while watching all the family friendly entertainment at the show.

Wanstead Rugby Club
Held at one of the oldest rugby clubs in Essex, the Wanstead fireworks display is bound to be popular with local residents and Bonfire Night fans. All profits from the display will be channelled into the club's youth development section to provide equipment, coaching and tours for budding rugby enthusiasts.

The Wanstead fireworks display takes place at 7pm, Saturday 5th November 2011. Tickets cost £3.00 per person, and there are also family tickets available for two adults and two children, costing £10.00.
