A unique 3D graffiti exhibition London event takes place at the home of guerilla art-base Mutate Britain this autumn as the 3D phenomenon moves out of the cinema and into the artworld.

3D graffiti exhibition
London cinemas have seen a plethora of 3D film releases over the year or so, what with everything from Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland to the gruesome Saw 3D on release around Halloween. Now you can epxerience the world of contemporary street art in vibrant 3D with the Graffiti Cubed exhibition.

World's first
Described as the world's first hand painted 3D art installation, the 3D graffiti exhibition invites you into an experience like no other. Cleverly rendered to make the flat outlines of street style graffiti leap out at you, the installation has been created by artist Chu at Cordy House. Painted in aerosol inside a large wooden cube, the work is said to be the world's first stereoscopic painting.

Enter the cube
Designed for just one visitor at a time, the 3D graffiti exhibition invites you to step inside and experience the fully immersive nature of the installation alone. Take off your shoes, put on your glasses and enter the world of 3D art, where you will come face to face with some of the most groundbreaking graffiti ever made.

Pass the sickbag
You may think that's a bit of a harsh comment to make about the artwork, but that is the effect that the 3D graffiti exhibition could have on you if you're prone to car sickness or are just generally a bit on the queasy side. With violently clashing colours used to produce a 3D effect through your special spectacles, the disorientation you feel as your brain tries to decide what's 3D and what isn't could end up making you lose your lunch. You have been warned.

Graffiti cubed, The 3D graffiti exhibition London event takes place from 2pm - 7pm on Saturdays and Sundays only from Saturday 30th October - Sunday 14th November 2010. Entrance is free and 3D glasses will be provided on entry.
