The play questions traditional notions of marriage and the roles men and women hold within, and outside of it, and consequently it retains considerable pertinence even today. A Dolls House was one of Ibsen’s most famous works and it continues to be widely read and studied, so you can expect Zinnie Harris’ version to be an exciting new adaptation.
