Those with a head for heights can throw themselves into the abseil challenge at Guys Hospital Tower. Held by the City of London Friends of Cancer Research UK, the charity abseiling event challenges you to make your way down a dizzying 469 feet from the top of the tower.

Want to test yourself and raise money for charity too? The abseil challenge at Guys Hospital Tower needs core muscle strengh, a good sense of balance and the ability to control any waves of vertigo coming your way as you descend almost 500 feet down one of the tallest buildings in London that it's possible to abseil. A team of experts will be on hand to show you the ropes, so even if you're a complete abseiling beginner you'll be able to take part.

Keep you fingers crossed for a fair weather day for the abseil challenge at Guys Hospital Tower, as you should be able to enjoy a stunning view of the London skyline as you make your way down the tower. The entry fee is only £25.00, but if you want to take part you should have a go at raising at least £200.00 in sponsorship as well.
