Great cast
Bringing Aladdin to life on the Shaw Theatre stage is a fantastic cast of well-known faces that are sure to have everyone dancing in the aisles and getting involved in all the on-stage shenanigans. West End and Buddy star, Oliver Seymour-Marsh will be playing the role of Aladdin himself, joined on stage by Bill Geraghty (Casualty, Poirot), Adebayo Bolaji (Joseph), Chris Coxon (Spamalot), Graham Kent (Eastenders) and many more. The pantomime has been written by BAFTA award-winning writers Iain Lauchlan and Will Brenton, so expect laughs-a-plenty throughout the 2009 Christmas season.

Musical makeover
The Shaw Theatre’s production of Aladdin won’t be like your average pantomime, the classic tale of the poor boy who dreams of marrying his very own princess has been given a musical makeover to make it even more entertaining than usual. All the players taking part will be singing and playing musical instruments so expect a number of great Motown and rock ‘n’ roll hits to acts as the soundtrack to a hilarious Christmas pantomime.
