Whisky history
If you imagine Albannach whisky tasting as some kind of almighty piss up then you’ve got the wrong end of the stick, although you do get the opportunity to consume quite a bit and may find yourself a little giddy by the end of the night. Instead, the special Whisky Flights tasting menus allow a whisky expert to guide you through the history of whisky, where it came from, how it’s made and the complexities and subtleties that make up this popular drink. Depending on when you go, you’ll receive an introduction to whiskies, learn about regions and wood finishes or explore the Islay region.

Of course, the proof is in the pudding and there is plenty of opportunity to taste the whiskies discussed. The Albannach whisky tasting is generous and depending on the Whisky Flight you selected, you can explore anything from three to five different varieties including popular brands and unusual, older and more expensive varieties. You’ll be taught how to taste the whisky and what flavours and aromas to look out for in each glass.

World of flavours
Sample 25ml measures of everything from Albannach own Scotch whiskies to Glenmorangie Signet, Macallan, Highland Park, Bushmill and Woodford Reserve during the Albannach whisky tasting experience. Whisky Flights range from £10.00 - £25.00, so there's plenty of scope for all budgets and you can expect to meet other whisky enthusiasts at the organised events too.
