The Southbank Centre Square is an increasingly popular space for pop up markets, with everything from the Real Food Market to the Chocolate Festival making sporadic appearances to tantalise the taste buds of passers by. Now, to celebrate the 2012 Alchemy Festival of Indian and South Asian culture, the Alchemy Market at Southbank Centre is offering stalls full of delicious produce as a special treat for foodies in London.

Indian produce
Experience the sights, smells and taste of Indian cuisine without leaving central London courtesy of the Alchemy Market at Southbank Centre, which will be packed full of Indian and South Asian food, spices and fresh produce for you to sample and take home with you. The market is also serving hot dishes and cups of chai tea, so you can refresh and refuel before heading back into the Southbank Centre to enjoy all the live music and dancing on offer.

Arts and crafts
As well as all the food and drink available to buy at the Alchemy Market at Southbank Centre, a selection of Indian crafts are also up for sale at the market stalls. Elsewhere at the Southbank Centre, there are Indian themed DJ sets, live music, dance performances and yoga workshops as part of the Alchemy Festival.

Alchemy Festival at Southbank Centre

The Alchemy Market at Southbank Centre is open from Friday 13th April - Sunday 15th April and Friday 20th April - Sunday 22nd April 2012. Opening hours are 12pm - 8pm Friday, 11am - 8pm Saturday and 12pm - 6pm Sunday. Admission to the market is free.
