The Londoner's Guide to London
Celebrate the launch of Tim Burton's hotly anticipated film adapation at the Alice in Wonderland pop up shop. Selfridges on Oxford Street is taking a trip down the rabbit hole and turning their ground floor Wonder Room into a wonderfully eccentric homage to the Lewis Carroll classic tale.
Alice in the Wonder Room
See some of the costumes from the Tim Burton film before the film premieres at the Alice in Wonderland pop up shop, which is putting items such as Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter ensemble on show. Selfridges is also recreating some of the key scenes from the film in a series of exclusive window displays.
As well as many of the film's costumes, the Alice in Wonderland pop up shop at Selfridges also features jewellery designed by Stella McCartney and Tom Binns specially for the Tim Burton film. Other Alice inspired items in the shop include playing cards and chess boards.
Ode to Alice
In addition to the designer jewellery, the pop up shop is also stocking a wealth of Alice inspired products to buy, including the Swarovski Alice in Wonderland collection, new and vintage clocks from Newgate and Retropolitan tea party essentials. There's also a selection of first edition, vintage and new Alice books, toys and posters.
Alice themed events
As well as the Alice in Wonderland pop up shop at Selfridges, there are also a number of other Alice inspired events taking place across the city. Click on the links below for more information on the film's premiere in Leicester Square, as well as a Mad Hatter's afternoon tea and special screenings at BFI IMAX.
