Alice in Wonderland Premiere London

Get ready to see the stars out in force on the red carpet at the Alice in Wonderland premiere London film screening. Johnny Depp is due to appear at the premiere alongside a host of British talent at a royal gala hosted by the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall.

Royal premiere
Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Matt Lucas and Anne Hathaway are just some of the stars of the new Tim Burton film, and are expected to appear alongside the director at the Alice in Wonderland premiere. London film fans can catch a glimpse of many of the red carpet arrivals at a star studded event which is being held to raise funds for The Prince's Foundation for Children and the Arts.

British voice cast
As well as the famous actors on screen, Alice in Wonderland also stars a number of famous British actors who voice the more fantastical characters in the film. Alan Rickman, Stephen Fry, Paul Whitehouse and Barbara Windsor are just some of the people who can be heard in the film, and fans will want to keep an eye out to see which members of the cast have made it to the Alice in Wonderland premiere.

London goes down the rabbit hole
Taking its inspiration from the famous children's story by Lewis Carroll, the Disney adaptation of Alice in Wonderland is the latest project by renowned filmmaker Tim Burton. The film follows the adventure of a 19 year old Alice, played by Mia Wasikowska, who returns to the strange and eccentric land to be reunited with characters such as the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat and the Mad Hatter.

Public screenings
Although tickets to see the Alice in Wonderland premiere London screening are bound to be difficult to come by, you can still cheer on all the stars of the film on the red carpet and experience the celebratory atmosphere as the film gets its UK premiere. The film is released nationwide on 5th March in both 2D and 3D formats, so there's the chance to see for yourself what all the fuss is about then.

The Alice in Wonderland premiere London charity screening takes place in the evening of Thursday 25th February 2010 in Leicester Square, at the Odeon Leicester Square and Odeon West End cinemas. It is free to watch the red carpet arrivals.
