Do not bother with this pub! Staff are rude and unhelpful, the pub itself is dirty and there are much better options just down the road.

We waited 15 minutes for our table to be cleaned, having to ask 2 different staff members to clear glasses and wipe the table.

The first staff member did take some glasses away, the second completely ignored us and continued talking to other customers who had already been served their drinks and meals.

However, I must thank him for being so rude, as he inspired us to leave All Bar One and go to The Phoenix where we received excellent service and had a great meal.

On visiting your site yesterday I realise have far the crunch has bitten - it seems you have not even been able to buy soap or detergents to clean anything, or is it a lack of staff that you can no longer afford.

I attended during daytime and had a distinct feeling it is not a trading time you value at all. Perhaps your statagiest has got it right - and the evenings are so much more profitable that clearly attention and resources are directed there. It was filthy. Not just the building and contents but also what was served to me right under my nose. Absolutly disgusting.

Unforntunately once you see it so visable on my table, the eye can not help wonder further and I can only say it is vile.Firstly, I ordered coffee - I am used to not being attended in a friendly or professional manner in London, so was not surprised it happen here too - then found some where to sit.

I could not tell the dirty table from the clean. They were clear but not wiped effectively, it is also a case that the brass table do require some extra care to keep them looking good and just not wiped over leaving dirty cloth stains.

Then the coffee arrived. My cup saucer was dirty. My milk jug was again dirty with the stains of coffee from what must have been an entire days trading. I was given smarties in cup shot glass also stained and unclean (and later cast an eye onto the glass container from which the smartie came -same again, unclean - I did not eat them).

Then I could not help myself. I lifted the napkin on the tray I was served coffee and it was either coffee stained or rust, either way it way horrible. My eye then went from the table to the floor. chairs, bench seat, windows, table stands and so on.

The toilets were similar, perhaps clear but certainly not clean as well as grafitti. It all made sense. This must be the true effect of the crunch. I wonder if the kitchen is like that too! Well what else would I wonder?

As with most All Bar Ones this is a very soulless place. Plenty of better places to go in the immediate area. One thing that I do love about the All Bar One however, is the Coriander Mash - not to be missed.
