Opening just in time for World AIDS Day 2008, the Annie Leibovitz (RED) Room at National Portrait Gallery gives you the chance to see some of her stunning photography for free. On show for just over a week, the Annie Leibovitz (RED) Room features a host of celebrities and famous faces as they pose for the well known artist.

Famous faces for (RED)
Consisting of a series of portraits taken by Annie Leibovitz for the (RED) partnership with Gap, highlights of the Annie Leibovitz (RED) Room include the likes of Christy Turlington, Penelope Cruz and Chris Rock wearing their favourite Gap (RED) product. Expressing their own personal style and making a contribution to the AIDS and HIV awareness campaign (RED) at the same time, these are classic Annie Leibovitz photos.

Vanity Fair photos
More portraits on the walls at the National Portrait Gallery come from the Vanity Fair magazine's historic Africa edition produced in July 2007. These photos capture highlights from the unique edition which was comprised of 20 different pictures taken by Annie Leibovitz. The (RED) Room now showcases these amazing images which include photos of Madonna, Barack Obama, Alicia Keys and George Clooney.

Late night opening
The opening night of the Annie Leibovitz (RED) Room takes place on Thursday 27th November 2008 with the National Portrait Gallery staying open until 11pm. Tickets are £11.00 with £2.00 from every ticket sale on the night going to the (RED) cause to help fight AIDS in Africa.

The Annie Leibovitz RED Room is open from Thursday 27th November - Thursday 4th December 2008 and entrance is free, other than on the opening night.
