Celebrate the fruits of autumn with Apple Day London events this October. Taking place as part of National Apple Day 2010, Apple Day London brings the colours and flavours of the countryside in autumn to the city.

Fortnum and Mason are joining forces with Clippy's Apples for a free apple preserving masterclass for Apple Day 2010, where you can learn how to make the perfect toffee apple jam just in time for Halloween. Apple Day at Fortnum and Mason takes place at the First Floor Demonstration Kitchen at 2pm, Thursday 21st October 2010.

Apple events at Venn Street Market
Venn Street Market in Clapham is joining forces with The Manor Arms to celebrate Apple Day with a local beer festival showcasing the very best in British ales and ciders. The market is also offering freshly squeezed apple juice from Ash Green Organics, and there's also apple bobbing for Halloween. The Venn Street Market Apple Day events take place from Saturday 30th - Sunday 31st October 2010.

October Plenty Festival
For those that want a little Chaucerian fun to go with their apples, head for the October Plenty festival on Bankside. With traditional Harvest Festival style festivities including the Corn Queene and the Berry Man, you can also enjoy two Chaucer tales acted by the Lion's Part theatre company and take part in the procession that leads to Borough Market. October Plenty takes place on Sunday 24th October 2010.
