Taking over the space next to the Battersea Arts Centre in the run up to Christmas Eve, the BAC Christmas Market offers products from over 40 local businesses, artists and food producers.
Christmas gift shopping
Set up in the covered space next to the Battersea Arts Centre amongst a forest of Christmas trees, the BAC Christmas Market is selling everything from handmade cards and children's clothing to wreaths, jewellery and ceramics. Head to the market to choose your Christmas tree and get all the inspiration you need for your festive shopping from all the market stalls.
Market bar
To get adults in the festive mood and make the process of Christmas shopping just that little more relaxing, the BAC Christmas Market has its own bar that's serving a variety of seasonal drinks. Sample some Christmas cocktails or opt for spiced rum, toffee vodka or chocolate wine, or warm up with a steaming cup of spiced cider.
Food and more
Meanwhile, all ages can fill up on a selection of seasonal food, from roasted chestnuts to all manner of cakes and sweet treats. More festive fun at the BAC Christmas Market comes in the form of live entertainment, which includes carol singing, beatboxing and craft workshops covering skills such as pottery and wood turning.
Market highlights
Stallholders at the Battersea Art Centre market include Floral Hall, who are selling a range of Christmas wreaths, as well as Shea Geniius, who are specialists in shea butter skincare. There's also knitwear from Pachamama, felt designs from Inspired Earth, jewellery from Leah Golding, shoes from Pied d'Armour, bags from Deni Designs and teacup candles from Antique Teacup.
The BAC Christmas Market takes place Thursday - Sunday from 1st December - 24th December 2011. Admission is free. The market is open from 12pm - 8pm Thursday and Friday, and 10am - 6pm Saturday and Sunday.
The market can be found next to the Battersea Arts Centre on Town Hall Road.
