Having wowed audiences in London back in 2006, you can see Les Ballets Trockadero at Peacock Theatre from 16th September to 4th October in a three week run that is sure to be a massive sell out hit with ballet and comedy fans alike. Combining high art and high camp in a classic mix that will have you shouting encore with great gusto, The Trocks as they are commonly known will put on a show like no other.

16 muscular men dressed in glittering tutus and romantic floaty dresses are what you can expect to see during the performance by Les Ballets Trockadero at Peacock Theatre. Dancing some of the greatest classical ballet performances from the history of dance, the choreography has been reintepretted to accomodate their male/male dancers. With colourful costumes and witty dances, the shows are a hilarious mix of comedy and amazing talent.

Two programmes are being performed at the Peacock Theatre in the autumn with dances choreographed by one of the founding artistic directors of Les Ballets Trockadero and one of the dancers themselves. La Troviata Pas de Cinq is a fun and colouful piece created by Peter Anastos who has been absent from the company for nearly 20 years; and Majisimas is a brand new show that features an exotic Spanish theme. The show will also features excerpts from classics like Swan Lake, the Pas de Deux, Giselle and the Vivaldi Suite which was last seen in London in 1998.

Having marked their 30th anniversary in 2004 and 2005 with a tour that included performances at the world renowned Bolshoi Thetare in Moscow, the ballet troupe have become a global phenomenon. With some stunning pieces and amazing choreography the performances by Les Ballets Trockadero at Peacock Theatre are not to be missed.
