The theme for the Barbican family film club July screenings is sorcery and magic, with witches and wizards aplenty and a magical selection of films to celebrate the return of the most famous boy wizard of all this summer.

Starting off the month is a showing of Charlotte's Web on Saturday 7th July. Adapted from the book by E.B. White, the film is a modern live action film that captures the same kind of delightful farmyard scene as Babe.

Hansel and Gretel is the next film to be screened during the Barbican family film club July session. Saturday 14th July sees the well known brother and sister fairytale characters set off into the forest and get tempted by the gingerbread house of the witch.

With plenty of action and scary moments that will be loved by children of all ages, the fith Harry Potter film ends the July family films with Voldermort returning with an army and Harry and the rest facing their OWL exams. The screening of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix is accompanied by a special sorcery workshop for kids before the film.

All film screenings take place at 11am, with the activity cart starting at 10:30. The Harry Potter sorcery starts at 10am on Saturday 21st July.
