The barter day at Hummus Bros aims to put the smile back on your face by giving you a free lunch of pitta bread and homemade hummus with a range of fresh toppings. Choose from hummus with either guacamole, chunky beef, vegetable salad and more for a healthy and tasty bite to eat for lunch.

Good cause
Charity shops across the country have seen a surge in popularity and demand of late, as more and more people have started to get thrifty and hunt out the array of bargains on offer at their local store. Unfortunately, many charity shops are struggling to keep their shelves fully stocked during the economic downturn, so Cancer Research UK and Hummus Bros are teaming up to encourage everyone to give up their unwanted possessions to help fund the research, prevention and treatment of cancer.

How it works
To make the most of the barter day at Hummus Bros, just bring along your unwanted but good quality clothes, DVDs, household items and other goods to the Hummus Bros Soho branch on Sunday 15th March 2009. A Cancer Research UK charity shop expert will evaluate your donation and you will then be able to use the equivalent value towards your food at Hummus Bros.

The barter day at Hummus Bros takes place from 12pm - 6pm, Sunday 15th March 2009.
