From a French language adaptation of Shakespeare's Twelfth Night to the best new works from French playwrights, Bastille Week at Lion and Unicorn Theatre celebrates the best in Gallic drama.

Exchange Theatre
Returning for the 4th edition in 2011, Bastille Week at Lion and Unicorn Theatre extends the traditional celebrations of Bastille Day into a week of cutting edge theatre. Bastille Theatre Week is the creation of the Exchange Theatre Company, which works to translate, produce and promote plays from a French background in London.

Shakespeare and more
Highlights of Bastille Week at Lion and Unicorn Theatre include La Nuit des Rois, a French language production of Twelfth Night by William Shakespeare. There's also the play and stand up comedy fusion Ghost Lamp de et avec Julie Drousset, as well as the English and French language comedy play, Excusez me de Benedict Cooper.
