I went to a party there last friday and we had so much fun, and so reasonably priced compared to most places . It was a huge mansion unusually decorated but this added to the feel for the place. I have also beeen to the restraunt which was also really good. As I live round the corner it is a very good local bar/restraunt to have near

What could have possibly induce the management to allow a video screen in the bar? Beauberry House used to be quite cool, but now it's like sitting in a chain pub watching gyrating women on hip hop videos. Zero points for class Beauberry House.

Last night we went for a meal at Beauberry House and I am afraid to say that the experience was deeply disappointing in all respects. On walking into the restaurant we were shocked by the garish and overbearing orange and white decor. It was devoid of atmosphere with irritating muzak in the background. We were ready to walk out before we had even ordered, but decided to give the meal a chance. To start we had prawn sushi, which was no better than sushi I have purchased from a supermarket. For the main course I had beef with black bean sauce and my partner had chicken tereyaki and there was no option of having rice as a side dish. We were left waiting for one of our orders, that had obviously been forgotten.

We reminded the waiter and 10 minutes later the dish eventually arrived. The puddings were slightly redeeming, but not enough to prevent us from feeling very disappointed in Beauberry House and that it was no better than an average high street Chinese.

We visited Belair House for Sunday lunch, and although the building is beautiful (it dates back to the 18th century) it was almost thirty quid for three courses! Now, I don't mind paying out for something really special but to be honest, it was just average. It's a real shame as Belair House is such a lovely venue, but they should either lower their prices or spend more time on the food.
