It’s that time of year again – the nation’s biggest reality show is once again descending on your television screens with a houseful of celebrity wannabes trapped together for your own viewing pleasure. Get the chance to be the UK’s next big reality TV star at the Big Brother London auditions taking place in February 2010.
Be a celebrity
The fastest way to being a celebrity these days is to appear on a reality TV show, and Big Brother on Channel 4 is one of your best bets. Before long you’ll be chased by paparazzi, turning up to openings and falling out of Mayfair nightclubs with the best of them, and that’s not to mention your legions of adoring fans. So what if the only downfall is that people can watch what you’re doing every second of every day?
Stand out from the crowd
They’ll be seeing a lot of hopefuls at the Big Brother London auditions, and your best bet is to stand out from the crowd. You’re going to have to make the impression that you’re something people want to stare at on their TVs all of the summer of 2010, so try and be creative. And it probably goes without saying that frightening the staff won’t score you any points.
A long day
There are sure to be thousands of wannabe celebrities waiting for entrance into the Big Brother London auditions, so you’re probably going to be in for hours and hours of queuing unless you’ve got a top spot. If you can’t camp out in advance, make sure you bring plenty of things to keep you busy and warm.
Last year’s winner
The winner of Big Brother 10 was Sophie Reade, who was famed for being one of the nicest of all Big Brother contestants. Big Brother 11 is reported to be the iconic show's final outing, so if you want to be the next Halfwit, Nadia, Chanelle or Brian, this could well be your last chance.
The Big Brother London auditions for Big Brother 11 take place from 8.30am on Saturday 6th February and Sunday 7th February 2010 at Wembley Arena.
Nearest Tube: Wembey Park. All applicants must be 18 or over by May 2010 and photo ID is required.
