Watch a cast of thousands at the Big Dance at Trafalgar Square, when the 2012 festival gets its grand finale thanks to renowned choreographer Wayne McGregor.

En masse dance
Combining the talents of the Wayne McGregor Random Dance company, the English National Ballet and thousands of emerging and professional dancers from across London, the Big Dance at Trafalgar Square should be a spectacle to behold as the central London landmark is filled with music and movement. The performance will be the premiere of a new work by choreographer Wayne McGregor, who has created the piece specially for the 2012 festival.

With his choreography being seen everywhere from Sadler's Wells and the Royal Opera House to films such as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and Radiohead music videos, Wayne McGregor is certainly a force to be reckoned with in the dancing world. Fans of dance are in for a treat at the Big Dance at Trafalgar Square performance, when the choreographer premieres a new work that's sure to challenge all of the dancers present and create a visually arresting spectacle for the audience.

2012 festival
In addition to the Big Dance at Trafalgar Square performance, this year's festival includes a number of exciting performances and workshops to inspire you to embrace dance in 2012 and beyond. East London Dance, the English National Ballet, Greenwich Dance, Sadler's Wells and Siobhan Davies Dance are all organising special events across the length and breadth of London, while a giant inflatable cinema screen will be popping up at outdoor locations across the city to show a series of dance related films.
