To accompany the city-wide Big Draw Campaign, Big Draw at the National Portrait Gallery gives kids the chance to create their own animated artwork with the help of a professional artist and explore the works of art in the gallery.

Animation workshop
A fun activity that is suitable for children, teenagers and their families, the Big Draw at National Portrait Gallery event is just one of the activities taking place around London to celebrate the Big Draw. Meet children’s illustrators and filmmakers and animators and spend the afternoon taking part in a series of enjoyable drawing activities. The event is free and no booking is required.

The Big Draw at National Portrait Gallery event runs from 1pm - 4pm, Saturday 8th October 2011. Admission is free.
