Big Draw Picture Party

Ending the Big Draw London events with a special creative session for kids, the Big Draw Picture Party will round off a month of exciting arts and drawing activities. Using picture books and art workshops, the Big Draw Picture Party gives kids and family the chance to get creative and make their own pictures of exotic creatures, fantasy themes and friendship. Bringing together books, learning and drawing, the Picture Party is a fantastic way to get kids more interested in literature and in art at the same time. Kicking off the event will be well known illustrator Quentin Blake, who will be encouraging children to get drawing on the day, along with a team of outstanding artists, who will be leading activities for kids of all ages. Axel Scheffer, Nick Sharrat and Emma Chichester are all renowned for their delightful illustrations and will be appearing throughout the day to help inspire budding artists.

More inspired art and drawings will be on show in the library piazza on the day of the Big Draw Picture Party, where the Celebrity Frame gives you the chance to see more work from famous hands.
