Big Lunch London
Originally thought up by the team at The Eden Project in Cornwall, the Big Lunch London series of events are part of a nationwide campaign to get people talking and eating with their neighbours. Whether it's a picnic on a patch of common ground or a full on street party, this is your chance to do something positive to counteract all the doom and gloom stories about a lack of community spirit and enjoy the company of friends, family and neighbours for an afternoon.

Eat for charity
And if you want another excuse to get together other than simply the appeal of having fun, then you can also organise a Big Lunch London event that will benefit the local charities in your area, too. From anti street crime initiatives to hospices and children's charities, you're sure to find many a grateful recipient for your fundraising efforts.
