Big Red Nose Show at Royal Albert Hall

Show your support for Comic Relief at the Big Red Nose Show at Royal Albert Hall, when the iconic performance venue hosts a night of classical music, comedy and en masse kazoo playing.

Classical music mayhem
A BBC Radio 3 spectacular designed to fuse the worlds of music and comedy into a night of all round entertainment, the Big Red Nose Show at Royal Albert Hall is a must for good humoured fans of classical music. Join the BBC Concert Orchestra, conductor Johannes Wildner and presenter Katie Derham for a night of top tunes and laughs.

Famous faces
Sue Perkins, Marcus Brigstocke, Tim Vine and Basil Brush are just some of the larger than life comic characters taking to the stage for the BBC Radio 3 Big Red Nose Show at Royal Albert Hall. As well as all the stand up comedians, you can also look forward to comic and uplifting music such as Chicken Run, Dance of the Comedians and Merrymakers.

Classical music
Other music to be played on the night includes Perpetuum Mobile by Strauss, Handel's Let the Bright Seraphim and Wagner's Ride of the Valkyries. The Dambusters March by Coates will also be performed as part of the Big Red Nose Show at Royal Albert Hall, as well as Nightmare Song from Iolanthe by Gilbert and Sullivan.

Kazoo orchestra
The concert also gives you the chance to be a part of the action and even get involved with a Guinness World Record attempt. Audience members will be supplied with kazooes on the night, to form what is hoped to be the world's biggest kazoo orchestra.

The Big Red Nose Show at Royal Albert Hall takes place from 7.30pm, Monday 14th March 2011. 95 percent of the ticket price goes to Comic Relief.
