We all have clothes languishing at the back of our wardrobe that haven't seen the light of day all year, and the Big Swish London event gives you the chance to liberate your neglected clothes and accessories and pass them on to a better home. Whether you bring along a hasty sales purchase, jeans that are the wrong size for you or a jumper that simply doesn't match anything else you own, there's bound to be someone at the event who will truly appreciate your unloved items.

As well as giving you the opportunity to swap your unwise fashion buys for something that is destined to become a wardrobe staple, the Big Swish London event has a serious environmental message for fashionistas too. Around two million tonnes of unwanted clothing ends up in landfill sites in the UK each year, which means that our throw away culture has a damaging impact beyond costing fashion fans a good chunk of their monthly paycheque.

How to take part
To take part in the Big Swap London show, simply hand in up to 15 clothes or accessories in good condition, in exchange for a Swish passport. You can then go shopping for the same number of items amongst all the designer labels, high street favourite and quirky vintage fashion that other swishers have donated.

Added extras
As well as the chance to update and refresh your wardrobe without blowing your budget, there's also the chance to get some top tips from the designers, stylists and models at the show. Complimentary beauty treatments from Swiss botanical beauty brand Arbonne are also available at the show, as well as special drinks offers from Amika.

The next Big Swish London event takes place at Amika. Clothes drop off is open from 4.30pm - 7pm, VIP swish entry is from 7.25pm and general admission is from 7.30pm.
