Celebrate the summer with the Biryani Fiesta at Indian Zing, the second of three special summer Indian festivals of food. Showcasing the rice dish popular in the Middle East and Asia, the Biryani festival highlights a host of regional and specialist Indian dishes that are very rarely seen in the UK.

Curry lovers will be delighted to be able to get their hands on the Tahiri Biryani, which comes fomr the Mahajan Hindus and is made from exotic mushrooms and tropical seasonal vegetables, served with raita and papadum. The Sofiani Biryani is another Indian dish to try over the summer, made with sesame paste and melon seeds, this is an unusual fish Biryani served with coconut infused with saffron and spices.
