A cultural celebration
The cultural diversity of Bloomsbury will be celebrated and enjoyed at the Bloomsbury Festival which features an eclectic line up of artists, shows and live acts. Everything from music and dance to film and art exhibitions will be taking place at what promises to be a seriously diverse festival event.

Bloomsbury Festival highlights
Highlights of this year's Bloomsbury Festival include a live jazz performance in the usually private Bedford Square, with gin cocktails, cakes and lawn games. The Extraordinary Moments in the Square event at Russell Square is also filled with tons of family events, including a live music stage, face painting and plenty of creativity and dancing.

Family fun
Families can gear up for half term with all manner of family friendly entertainment at the Bloomsbury Festival. There's a young people's workshop with dance, music and visual art for all those between 8 and 25, as well as storytelling workshops, debates, film screenings, guided walks and more. With all the other entertainment on offer there's plenty for the whole family so pop along for a whole host of fun and culture.

Calling all toddlers
For the really little ones, there's plenty on offer too. There'll be craft stalls, children's activities, workshops, games and much more that will keep them all entertained. One particular highlight of this year's event for the nippers included a concert performance of Bach's music designed for babies and toddlers and a host of science based activities aimed at educating as well as entertaining.

A weekend in Bloomsbury
Londoners can spend a whole weekend exploring the Bloomsbury Quarter and seeing what’s on offer in a vibrant, diverse London festival. Events are being held all weekend, including the very special Store Street Shindig, which will be taking over the Camden road in a street party style, with a range of activities and games for all the family.

The Bloomsbury Festival takes place at various locations in the Bloomsbury Quarter from Tuesday 15th October – Sunday 20th October 2013. The vast majority of events are free to attend, though there are one or two that require paid admission.
