Not at all sure what Bob is elluding to. He must have had an unfortunate experience. There last weekend (Nov 08), had delicious poached eggs on toasted muffins with smoked salmon, and a pot of tea. Other half had cured ham with poached eggs and cheese. Both thoroughly enjoyed our brunch, and I was glad to find somewhere that a 'treat' breakfast is not a plate swimming in grease. Will go there again, soon.

Cheap, nasty, bad service, disgusting food. The premises seem unacceptable for a food service outlet and that is probably why the service and food is so rubbish. Go to this eatery at your peril.

Cheap and nasty, in an area not very suitable for prepared food. Making the neighbourhood unpleasant for decent young couples and their kids.

The Boiled Egg and Soldiers has a special place in my heart, as I first went there the night after I'd met my now girlfriend. It's great for a hangover cure and the people in there are really friendly.
