Bond Noel comes to London’s Bond Street in an explosion of Christmas colour and cheer. One of London’s most famous shopping streets, Bond Street will be transformed into a winter wonderland to celebrate the advent of the festive period.
Christmas lightsBond Noel on Bond Street is one of London’s highlights and attracts a host of visitors every year, looking for the very best in famous name stores. This reaches fever pitch at Christmas time as people flock there to find presents for loved ones and to get in the Christmas spirit with the stunning illuminations that are traditionally displayed.
Bond Noel funBond Street will once again be getting suitably festive this year as the fantastic Bond Noel takes place again on Thursday 20th November 2008. This great shopping event sees snow falling, fir trees lining the pavement, carol singers, street entertainers and more, all combining to make a seductive festive atmosphere. For those of you still looking to shop, rickshaw sleighs will be on hand to fly you off to your favourite store, making your shopping even easier this year.
Bond girl 2008In addition to the fantastic entertainment on show for Bond Noel 2008 and of course, the shopping, will be the annual switching on of the Bond Street Christmas lights. This much loved event is always one to look forward to and this year is no different as a special guest celebrity once again does the honours at 6pm. Model and actress Kelly Brook is the one to flick the switch on a stunning set of illuminations this year, so you can expect another fabulous event for 2008.
Festive charityWhat’s more, Bond Noel is all for charity so just by turning up and showing your support you’ll be doing something good for the community. This year Bond Noel will be in aid of the Great Ormond Street Hospital Children’s Charity and all funds raised will go to ensure that the hospital remains one of the best child healthcare hospitals in the world.
Luxury prizesIn order to raise money for the charity there’s a luxury Bond Street Tombola, offering visitors the chance to win over £10,000 worth of prizes, including luxury gifts from the likes of Asprey, Cartier, DKNY, Bally, Tiffany and Co., Montblanc, Burberry and hundreds of pounds worth of vouchers for top Bond Street stores. Unique gift experiences have also been donated by Claridges, the Ritz, Brown's Hotel and the Royal Academy of Arts.
Bond Noel comes to London on Thursday 20th November 2008 from 5pm – 8pm at Bond Street. The Christmas lights will be turned on at 6pm by Kelly Brook.
