The Bond Street Christmas lights will be switched on in a seriously vibrant event on Thursday 19th November 2009, accompanied by carols, live music, street entertainers, reindeer and even guaranteed snow.
A White Christmas at Bond StreetA White Christmas will definitely be the order of the day at the Bond Street Christmas light switch on this year, with a selection of traditional Christmas staples featuring at the event. Enjoy snow showers and fir trees in a classic festive setting, an ideal backdrop for what are sure to be some of the West End’s most impressive Christmas lights.
Festive party in Bond StreetThe switching on of the Bond Street Christmas lights will be accompanied by a festive street party, including reindeers fireworks, magicians and more. It has been rumoured that a number of celebrities will be around to mingle with the crowd, so who knows who you might bump into on the night? For those of you looking to shop, there'll be rickshaw sleighs ready to whisk you off to your favourite Bond Street stores.
Father Christmas at Bond StreetWhether you’ve been naughty or nice you’ll get a chance to see a very special guest at the Bond Street Christmas lights switch on this year, with none other than Father Christmas himself making an appearance for the event. The Bond Street Christmas Lights switch on event takes place at 6pm, Thursday 19th November 2009. The lights will be switched on at 6pm during the Bond Noel celebrations, which run from 5pm - 8pm. The event is free to attend.
