A selection of stunning fireworks displays are taking place in South London this year, promising something special for children and adults in the area. Start planning where to catch a London fireworks display and make it a memorable Bonfire Night for 2008.

Battersea Park
Head down to Battersea Park for Wandsworth Council’s flagship Bonfire Night fireworks display on Saturday 1st November 2008. The event promises to be one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in London. The fireworks display itself is due to start at 8pm. Admission is £5.00 on the night with a £1.00 charge for kids under 10 years old.

Blackheath Fireworks Display
Another popular annual fireworks display on the South London events calendar, the Blackheath fireworks display is certain not to disappoint this year. Hundreds of people are expected to make the journey to enjoy fantastic fireworks displays on Saturday 8th November 2008. The fireworks are due to start at 8pm. Admission is free.

Brockwell Park Fireworks Displays
Gather at one of the biggest parks in South London for an impressive display of fireworks. With the fireworks displays at Brockwell Park being one of the best in London it'll make an ideal after-school treat for the kids. And for the bigger kids, what better way to start a Wednesday night out? Brockwell Park firework display takes place on Wednesday 5th November 2008, with fireworks starting at 7.25pm.

Clapham Fireworks Display
Bonfire Night fireworks displays are also taking place on Wednesday 5th November 2008 at the heart of one of South London’s trendiest bar districts. Early evening fireworks displays take place on Clapham Common at 7.30pm. Admission is free.

Kingston Fireworks Display
Fireworks fun for all the family at Kingston’s Kingsmeadow Athletics Ground, where huge fireworks displays will be taking place ahead of Bonfire Night. Kingston fireworks display takes place on Friday 7th November 2008. For more information, click below.

Morden Park
Morden Park will be staging its very own fireworks displays on Saturday 1st November 2008. The event promises to be a spectacular affair for all present, with plenty of firework action in store. Two displays and bonfires will feature along with fairground rides. Tickets are £7.00 for adults, £4.00 for kids. Under 4s go free.

Streatham Fireworks Display
A third fireworks display courtesy of Lambeth Council, on Streatham Common will take place this November. Expect plenty of traditional Guy Fawkes fun on the night at a popular Bonfire Night event. Streatham firework display takes place on Wednesday 5th November 2008, with fireworks starting at 7.30pm.

Wimbledon Park Fireworks Displays
Visit Wimbledon Park for a huge fireworks display from Merton Council, due to take place on Wednesday 5th November 2008. Two displays and bonfires will feature along with fairground rides. Tickets are £7.00 for adults, £4.00 for kids. Under 4s go free.
