BoomBox is the club that everyone wants to go to and that everyone is talking about. Full of the most outrageously dressed people and open only to those that make a serious effort, BoomBox Club is a night like no other.

Marketed through word of mouth only, BoomBox Club sees the worlds of fashion, design and fantasty costume colide like Giles Deacon rummaging through a dressing up box. If you want to get the look right think outrageous, theatrical, feathers, faux fur and frills, space age sixties, drag queen makeup or just down right peculiar.

One of the hottest nights in town, you can expect a crowd of friendly weirdos intent on looking as distinguishable from the norm as possible. The club was started by Richard Mortimer in 2006 and has since gone from being an intimate club night to having a heaving attendence with almost everyone in London wanting in on the guestlist. Celebs like designer Gareth Pugh, model Agynes Deyn and Kelly Osbourne have all been spotted there, making it even more of a must-do hangout for those trend spotters.

Having inspired an entire book through the weekly BoomBox Club photography sessions, you could well be posted up on the website come Monday, with your green glittery face paint and your clown shoes on show to the rest of the Hoxton curious. Making the most of the fashion-arti crowd in town for London Fashion Week, you can expect more than a few oddly dressed celebs at this coolest of cool hangouts.

The MAC BoomBox Book is available from Dover Street Market and the MAC official website.
