Get your fill of free arts events at BP Saturdays at Tate Britain. The events continue with the Tate Together day of activities for kids and families, which includes artist led events, talks and more interactive cultural themed fun.

Tate Together
With opportunities to both spectate and be a part of the series of free arts events taking place throughout the famous gallery, there's plenty to keep you busy during BP Saturdays at Tate Britain. Take part in gallery workshops, drop in on a series of artist-led activities and get in touch with your creative side on a programme specially designed for children aged 5 - 12 and their families.

Alternative tours
If you want to discover a different side to the Tate Britain and discover the secrets of some of the masterpieces in the gallery's collection, the child friendly BP Saturdays at Tate Britain event might be just the event you're looking for. The day is part of the city-wide special events taking place for the Cultural Olympiad Open Weekend, and features workshops and performances that use everything from puppetry to digital animation.

Live performances
As well as all the workshops and live performances during BP Saturdays at Tate Britain, a number of other interactive events are taking place across the city to keep families happy over the Cultural Olympiad Open Weekend. Cultural Olympiad Open Weekend

Tate Together, the next in the BP Saturdays at Tate Britain series, takes place from 10am - 3pm, Saturday 23rd July 2011.

The event is suitable for children aged 5 - 12. Admission is free, although some activities may need to be booked in advance. For more information, call 0207 887 8888.
