An MC with a cheeky Brazilian funk hip hop tune causing dance fever in hundreds of nightclubs across Brazil is about to set London on fire with a serious booty challenge at the second Brazilian Baile Funk night in London on Friday 13 June 2008.
Brazilian, Sergio Rodrigo Campos Costa, who is more popularly known as MC Creu, has been causing havoc in Brazil with his song 'Creu’ for the past few months. During the last Easter Weekend he performed over 25 concerts at Baile Funk venues.
The song is a saucy rap about making love, and the dance routine that accompanies it, involves girls doing pelvic-defying movements of the behind, which owes much to the African culture of Brazil. This song and dance sensation has whipped up unprecedented excitement in Brazilian nightclubs in London and other UK cities, and now MC Creu is set to give them the real deal at the Troxy Club.
Throughout the whole performance, two female dancers will be performing high speed booty movements. Slowing down, speeding up, the rapid dance of the bums – is truly a sight to behold. Eat your heart out Beyonce, the Brazilian girls have got the booty well and truly licked!
Sure to be a hot one, this Baile Funk night will be filled with music totally different from the norm. Clubbers can expect thumping basslines, raucous horns, deep rapid beats, and racy, rapid and uncompromising lyrics.
