Memorabilia and more
British Music Experience tickets are perfect for anyone who’s interested in British music and culture, as the O2 brings state-of-the-art special effects, iconic memorabilia, interactive elements and much, much more. British Music Experience tickets will gain you entry to a permanent exhibition that showcases quite what a profound influence British music has had on popular culture throughout the twentieth century and beyond.
Era-defining music
The British Music Experience brings to life the era-defining musical genres that affected society so profoundly. From the rock‘n’roll of the fifties through the Beatles and the swinging sixties, to Britpop’s Oasis and Blue, The British Music Experience will piece everything together, showcasing how different genres influenced others, how each was born and the legacy each left.
British music's effect on society
The British Music Experience won’t be just about the music. The exhibition will highlight the influence British music had on fashion, politics, art and other key areas of culture, and indeed how culture affected music. The exhibition will also attempt to understand the British music scene at the moment, and try to give indications of where it’s heading and what that means for society in general.
Interactive fun
Visitors to the British Music Experience will be able to see rarely seen interviews with the biggest stars, record their own songs, get a glimpse into what it’s like to perform in front of thousands, learn musical instruments, throw their best shapes on the dance floor and much, much more. It’s a fun, yet incredibly informative exhibition, making it perfect for anyone interested in music and culture.
Learn from the best
In the Gibson Interactive Studio at the British Music Experience, visitors can pick up guitars, play the drums and tinkle the electronic ivories whilst enjoying step-by-step video tuition from the likes of KT Tunstall, The Magic Numbers and Amy Macdonald. There's also a vocal booth also offering expert voice coaching, enabling anyone with designs on stardom the chance to have a try before they go global.
Enjoy the British Music Experience at home
The BME ticket that you purchase is fitted with a smart card, enabling you to register interest in any of the areas just by waving it over the sensors. Then when you get home you can go on the British Music Experience website and find out even more. And if you want to see yourself dancing? It'll even save the shapes you threw in the dance studio for your perusal in your own personal profile on the website.
