Experience the joys of a traditional country fair in the centre of London at the Brunswick village fete. Taking place in the revamped shopping centre in Bloomsbury, the event mixes classic fair entertainment with live music and plenty of shopping offers for those searching for a bit of retail therapy.

Brunswick village fete
Emphasising the rural theme to the max, the Brunswick village fete sees the stylish shopping centre decorated with bales of hay and includes plenty of stalls in the traditional farmers' market. There's also a beer tent and cake stall to keep visitors refreshed and well fed throughout the day.

Live entertainment
The fair is free to attend, and includes live performances from Maypole dancers. Bringing the 2011 Brunswick village fete to a close will be a live brass band.

Events for kids
The family friendly fair includes a range of activities and games for children, including face painting, balloon modelling, a coconut shy and a Hook the Duck stall. Shopping and restaurant promotions include special offers at Giraffe, Carluccio's, Strada, and more.

The Brunswick village fete runs from 11am, Saturday 14th May 2011. Admission to the fair is free, but any donations will go to charity.
