Celebrate Burns Night at LSO St Lukes with a night of live music and entertainment. The atmospheric Hawksmoor church will play host to an evening of live folk music from the Scottish Highlands and islands to remember the poetry and life of the national hero on Wednesday 21st January 2009.

With the ever increasing popularity of the celebrations surrounding the birthday of Scotland's favourite son, Burns Night at LSO St Lukes offers something a bit different from the standard evenings of haggis, neeps and tatties. Live music including performances from favourite folk instruments the harp and fiddle will aim to give you a true taste of the homeland of Robert Burns.

International fusions
To give the age old traditions of Burns Night a contemporary edge, Burns Night at LSO St Lukes will fuse Scottish folk music sounds with sassy Latin beats. Lively salsa band Salsa Celtica will be on hand to provide an exotic and vibrant atmosphere to Burns Night 2009.
