Laugh out loud with a host of Scottish and British stand up talent at the Burns Night Comedy Gala. Taking place at the Leicester Square Theatre, the gala launches the 2012 programme of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival.

Stand up comedians
If you'd rather see some first rate comedy on Burns Night instead of filling up on haggis and all the trimmings, then head to the Leicester Square Theatre where the Burns Night Comedy Gala will be in full swing. The evening features a line up of tried and tested stand up comedians.

The lineup
Comedians appearing at the Burns Night Comedy Gala include Robin Ince, Fred MacAulay and Adam Kay. Other acts on the line up include Stewart Lee.

Glasgow festival
As well as conveniently falling on the night traditionally used to celebrate the life of the famous Scottish poet Robert Burns, the Burns Night Comedy Gala is also drumming up support for the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, which takes place from 15th March 2012. The comedy gala takes place on the same night as a host of other celebrations for Burns Night.
