Burns Night is the annual celebration of the seminal Scottish poet Robert Burns, alive in the 18th century. The event takes place on 25th January each year, on Robert Burns’ birthday, and is traditionally celebrated with poetry, song and a hearty Burns Supper. This year is the 253rd anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns, so expect some extra special celebrations in honour of Scotland's favourite son.
