Not sure why people give 1 stars, was there no roof? Get real please! I have had the breakfast, lunch with my sister, and evening meal here, you can sit outside next to the Thames in the shadow of Tower Bridge as location goes this is just fantastic, especially in this weather! The food is wonderful as is the staff, its changed a lot since I 1st went here in the earlier 90s but the food & service i highly recommend!

Would never go back. Booked in for one of the set meal deals which should have included a glass of wine.

Sat us down then told us a glass of wine wasn't included, but we could upgrade which would cost more money.

Our starters ware tasteless. The main meal came out within a minute or so of finishing our starters, salmon was cold, the pork chop was as tough as old boots, so we sent it back.

The Manager was aggressive to say the least. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry. Didn'T want to cause a scene so we paid and left.

Then over heard him call me an A***hole to one of the waiters as I left. A true professional manager.

Butlers Whart Chop House was supposed to be a treat for my parents. It was probably in my top 5 of all time dreadful restaurants. The sommelier felt the need to argue when he told us that the bottle of wine we had ordered was the last one so we had to change wine half way through the evening.

The service was shambolic. There was no consistency as you never get the same waiter. My monk fish was bland. The 'piece de resistance' was that I paid the bill with cash which I had discreetly counted under the table, and then the waiter proceeded to count it on the table in front of my parents. Even the manager tried to justify this! To be fair I did get my service tip back but I shall not be going back to Butlers Wharf Chop House.

Butlers Chop House is where Cato works now they no longer make Pink Panther films. Conran run, steak and kidney pud heaven.

Very mediocre food. Like most Conran restaurants there is more style than substance. We had lunch there yesterday....£75 with only a couple of glasses of wine. The standard of cooking is surprisingly low, and the wait staff are only marginally capable...a couple don't speak English, for example. Lunch at the Ritz would have only been £20 more...with real cooking and real service. I'd avoid ANY of Conran's restaurants at this point...every time I go it's the same story...weak cooking, so-so service...high prices.

We went here on saturday evening, it was quite early so managed to get a table quite easy in the bar area. The food is good value for money, I had minced beef cobbler it was delicious!! I would recommend it to anyone. Just try it. The view's not bad either..
