Expected a lot more from Kweli, it's fair enough bringing his new signing Idle Warship along but on the ticket his name was at the top!

This was nothing but a stunt to promote a new band on his label. £30 for just over an hour of music altogether and poor quality sound is shocking.

Went to see Mos Def last year, he did a solid hour and a half alone after three top quality support acts, all for the same price.

Talib Kweli ripped us off.

The worst sound ever, didn't know it was any longer possible to to hear a sound as bad as this at a gig other than high school prom.

No harm in closing down the venue, I would never go back there again

worst sound set up i've ever heard, mics were feeding back bass was too loud. I get better range from my ipod speakers! Kweli is a lyrical genius and with that sound set up in we couldn't actually hear any of the words, muffled and fuzzy. Anyway all in all a very disapointing gig and from the reception he/they received i think the crowd agreed

I never write reviews... however im so angry at the moment...
I don't even want to give a star for this.
Was so excited to see Talib Kweli live...however came out utterly disappointed - and i think by the reaction of the people around me, no one was happy.
The sound system was awful, had to hold yours hands over your ears as the base was so loud - and the mics sounded like they were turned off.
I paid £30 to apparently see Idle Warship and not Talib Kweli...
He did two songs...right at the end - thats it... can you imagine... the show was from 8pm to 11.pm...usually you expect to only see the artists for an hour, but at least you see a solid show... this was just a push for two other ladies.. that i only assume are on his record label!?
Poor poor poor...
