The Canary Wharf Summer Festival kicks off on July 13th and will run until July 27th 2007. Canada Square Park becomes the festival headquarters as live music and entertainment pour into it from a massive outdoor stage. Whether you’re a fan of classical or jazz, dozing on a picnic blanket or dancing there’s certain to be something to suit your taste.

Events are numerous, so here are a few top picks.

London Symphony Orchestra – The Music of Hollywood Concert
15th July
7.30pm
The London Symphony Orchestra returns to Canary Wharf with another movie spectacular. This year’s concert will feature songs and music from Hollywood's finest moments.

Canary Wharf Wizardry
21st July
11am Celebrate with loads of London book fans as Canary Wharf throws a party in honour of the last ever Harry Potter book, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Expect plenty of activities for kids and adults too.

Silent Film Night
25th July
7.30pm
Check out a screening of Harold Lloyd's Safety Last, with live music composed and conducted by Carl Davis and performed live by the Cinema Orchestra.
